DAY 01 - Arrive:
Arrive to Istanbul Airport and meet for
transfer on to the hotel. Rest of the day is
then at leisure (as per your flight Arrive
time). Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 02 - Historical Sights in Sultanahmet:
After breakfast at hotel meet with the guide
to depart on the full day regular group tour
to explore the Blue Mosque, St Sophia,
Hippodrome and Obelisk, the Grand Bazaar and
Topkapi Palace (excluding optional extra
entrance to Harem room). After the tour,
return to hotel with the evening then at
leisure. Overnight in Istanbul
DAY 03 - Gallipoli Tour to Memorials:
Breakfast, check out and meet for early
morning transfer to Eceabat. On Arrive
break for lunch before starting the
Gallipoli Battlefields and Memorials Tour.
The guide will take you to see the Kabatepe
Museum, ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine Australian
Memorial, Johnston's Jolly (Turkish &
Allied trenches and tunnels), The Nek and
Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial. After
sightseeing cross by car ferry for the drive
on to Canakkale and check-in to hotel. The
evening is at leisure or for those that wish
there is a screening of the 4 Corners
Documentary ‘Fatal Shore’ and the
"Gallipoli" movie starring Mel Gibson.
Overnight in Canakkale.
DAY 04 - Sightseeing Troy:
Breakfast at hotel then depart on the
mornings excursion to visit the famous
archaeological and mythological city of
Troy, home of the "Trojan Horse" & "Helen of
Troy". Return to Canakkale by noon with the
remainder of the day at leisure until
departure on drive back to Kusadasi, late
evening Arrive. Overnight in Kusadasi.
DAY 05 - Ephesus Guided Tour:
Today the sightseeing tour will take you to
visit the remains of Artemis Temple, one of
the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. Then to
visit Ephesus Ancient City, the best
preserved Greco-Roman city in the world.
After a break for lunch depart for the House
of Virgin Mary and visit the chapel where
she is said to have spent her last days.
Return to hotel and overnight in Kusadasi.
DAY 06 - Pamukkale Travertens:
After breakfast at hotel and check out you
will be Meet by the tour guide to depart for
Pamukkale where you will have the chance to
visit the natural formation of the
travertens and the ruins of Hierapolis. At
the end of the tour day transfer to the bus
station in Pamukkale for departure by
overnight intercity bus to Cappadocia.
DAY 07 - Fairy Chimneys & Goreme:
Early morning meet at the bus station on
your Arrive and transfer to the hotel for a
short rest. Then depart on the full days
tour of Cappadocia to visit the Devrent
Valley and Monk's Valley where you find the
famous fairy chimneys. Lunch taken in the
pottery town of Avanos then on to tour
Goreme Open-Air Museum and explore the rock
carved churches and monasteries. A visit to
Ortahisar Natural Rock Castle for views is
also included. Overnight in Cappadocia.
DAY 08 - Underground City & Valleys:
Breakfast then depart on a second Cappadocia
tour this time visiting the Derinkuyu
Underground City which was built as a
defence & hiding site during the period of
spreading Christianity. Then on to the old
christian village of Cavusin to visit a
triple Apse church and monastery of Saint
John the Baptist. In the old Greek Village
of Sinasos there are Greek and Ottoman
houses. The days tour also includes a 3km
hike (easy grade) through the Red Valley
offering some great scenery and a visit to
Uchisar natural rock castle. At end of the
tour, collect luggage from hotel reception
and transfer on to the bus station for
travel by overnight intercity bus to
Istanbul. (Note: Direct flights to Istanbul
are also available if you prefer instead of
taking the overnight bus.)
DAY 09 - Leisure day in Istanbul:
If by overnight bus, Arrive early morning
and meet for transfer to the hotel. Today is
free at leisure for you to either relax or
do some further sightseeing on your own.
Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 10 - Departure:
Breakfast, check out and as per your flight
time transfer to Istanbul International
Airport.
