DAY 1
ARRIVAL
Arrive in Istanbul and take a taxi (extra)
or optional transfer to your hotel.
Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2 Istanbul
Byzantine
&
Ottoman Relics
Enjoy a full day tour of sightseeing,
discover the Byzantine and the Ottoman
Relics;
visit Saint Sophia Museum, one of the
world’s greatest architectural marvels,
built by
Constantine The Great in the 4th century and
reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th
century. Then visit Sultanahmet Mosque,
built in the 16th century, unique with six
minarets and its magnificent interior
decoration of the blue Iznik tiles. See the
Ancient
Hippodrome, once was the scene of chariot
races, with three monuments: the Obelisk
of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column
and the Column of Constantine. Before
lunch visit the grand Covered Bazaar within
over 4000 tiny shops. Visit Royal Topkapi
Palace, the great palace of the Ottoman
Sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries.
Then visit Suleymaniye Mosque, built in 1550
by the famous architect Sinan, emphasized
with four minarets rising one from each
corner of the courtyard. You will be
transferred back to Taksim Square Hotel
Istanbul in the early evening for the night.
Day 3 Istanbul
Bosphorus
&
Two Continents
Early in the morning, enjoy a full day tour
to Bosphorus and Asia; visit the Egyptian
Bazaar (Spice Market) and then embark on a
boat, sail along the waterway separating
Europe and Asia, while passing the
magnificent Dolmabahce Palace under Bosphous
Bridge, the Fortresses, villas and small
fishing villages. Then visit Rumeli
Fortress; built by MehMeet in 1453, prior to
the conquest of Istanbul, one of the most
beautiful works of military architecture.
After lunch in a Turkish local restaurant
across Bosphorus Bridge, visit the summer
residence of the Ottoman Sultans with its
Harem on the Asian side. Then see the
panoramic view of Istanbul and Bosphorus
from Camlica Hill, the highest point of
Istanbul. You will be transferred back
to Taksim Square Hotel Istanbul in the early

Category Hotels:
There are many great options,
which reflect the culture of
Turkey. One thing that
most special category
hotels share in common is that
they are small hotels that do
not have many rooms and service
is more personal. A special
category hotel may
be a converted Ottoman
mansion, an old stone house, a
caravanserai or a cave/stone
house. Some of these special
hotels are similar to bed and
breakfast
establishments and are owned and
run by family members, whereas
others are luxury hotels with
professional staff.

locations for your stay in
Istanbul depending on your

Istanbul. This is also the area
of highest tourist
concentration.
Taksim (Beyoglu):

near to local shopping streets
and entertainment are are not
far from the historic sites.
Galata Quarter:
This famous old neighborhood in
Istanbul has the advantage of
being in between old and new
Istanbul and a good point for
enjoying both areas.

Arrive or departure transfer.
Please give details of your
flights if transfers are
desired. Do not include tours on
