8 Day Turkey Tour / By Bus Including visit to: Gallipoli, Troy, Ephesus, Pamukkale, Cappadocia
DAY 1
Istanbul-Gallipoli Lunch Included 6:30 am pick up from your hotel .We drive to where you will get information about the naval battle that took place in the Dardanelles prior to the army landings. Later on, we continue to the Kabatepe War Museum, which contains relics from the battle including original diary extracts and letters. Lunch at Eceabat. We then visit Brighton Beach, the intended landing place and the Anzac Cove where dawn service is held on each Anzac Day. Also you will visit the Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnston's Jolly and Chunk Bair New Zealand Memorial. After visiting the Kilitbahir fortress, which was built in 1453 by Mehmet II, the Conqueror (to honor his successful siege of Constantinople), we will return to Istanbul or cross the Dardanelles to spend the night in Canakkale.
DAY 2
Troy - Kusadasi Dinner Included After breakfast drive to Troy visiting; Here you will learn the mythology surrounding Troy, The Trojan Horse and Helen of Troy. Till now, 10 cities have been discovered, one built on the top of the other, dating back to 3500 BC. You will see and hear about the Trojan Horse, Helen of Troy, the Trojan Wars, the battle between Archillies and Paris, the Remains of Troy IX, the Alters and the Houses of Troy I, dating back to 2500 BC. And then we drive to Kusadasi. overnight stay in Kusadasi
DAY 3
Ephesus Tour Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included The tour begins by visiting the remains of the Artemis Temple, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Afterwards, it proceeds to the spectacular main site of Ephesus, undoubtedly the most superbly preserved Greco-Roman city. Unmistakable highlights surviving among the ruins are the Celsius Library, Agora, Theater, Odeon, Trajan Fountain, Domitianus Temple and Roman Latrines. DAY 4
Pamukkale - Hierapolis Tour Breakfast and Lunch Included 08:00 pick up from your hotel drive to Pamukkale visiting; Pamukkale and the ancient city of Hierapolis with the Temple of Apollo, the breathtaking Theater, the fascinating Necropolis and the last the great baths of Hierapolis antique city, where St. Philip was martyred. St. Philip is connected with the early church in Hierapolis and played an important role in Pamukkale the history of the city. Finally we visit the calcium terraces and pools. After the tour free time . 20:00 Overnight by bus to Cappadocia (with non smoking, fully air-conditioned bus)
DAY 5
Cappadocia 08:30 Arrive in Cappadocia and transfer to the hotel c-in Free Day in Cappadocia Overnight stay in Cappadocia(Cave Hotel).
DAY 6
Cappadocia Tour 1 Breakfast and Lunch Included Arrival in Cappadocia and transfer to hotel to fresh up before start tour. Depart from your hotel to visit Devrent Valley to see the unigue fairy-chimneys. Drive to Pasabag (Monk's Valley) to see the most interesting mushroom-shaped pinnacles.Drive to the city of Avanos for lunch.In the afternoon visit another beautiful open air museum at Goreme where the remains of rock-cut churches and Christian settlements date back hundreds of years. Lastly, before returning to your hotel, visit the natural castles at Uchisar. Overnight stay in Cappadocia (Cave Hotel).
DAY 7
Cappadocia Tour 2 Breakfast and Lunch Included Depart from your hotel to visit Red valley,and explore the famous rock- cut churches and hike 5 km through the Gulludere valley (Rose valley). Then visit Cavu-thorn;in village.This village is famous for the houses and churches of the christian clegymen. Drive to the pigeon valley for lunch. In the afternoon visit Kaymakli underground city. Where early christians lived in fear and faith. On the way back visit the natural castles at Ortahisar. After tour overnight bus to Istanbul with non smoking, fully air-conditioned bus at 21:00 (duration 11 hours)
DAY 8
Istanbul 7:30 am.Arrival in Istanbul transfer to your hotel.
