The Necropolis of Hierapolis in Pamukkale, Turkey is an incredible archaeological site that has been deemed a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located in the southwest corner of the country, Hierapolis was once home to an ancient Greek city founded around 190 BC by Eumenes II of Pergamon. The Necropolis is a vast graveyard located just outside the walls of Hierapolis, and it holds some of the most fascinating artifacts from antiquity.
