Day 1: Fly from Istanbul to Izmir – Ephesus Tour – Fly to Cappadocia
You will be picked up from your hotel in Istanbul around 4:00 am and transferred to the airport for your flight to Izmir (between 6:00 – 7:30 am). Upon arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to Ephesus to meet your professional guide for a full-day tour.
On the tour, you will visit:
- Ephesus Ancient City: Enter through the Magnesia Gate and walk through the ruins of this Roman provincial capital. See the Odeum, Library of Celsus, Temple of Hadrian, Fountain of Trajan, and the Great Theater, where St. Paul once preached.
- Temple of Artemis: One of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
- House of the Virgin Mary: Believed to be the place where Mary spent her final years.
- Isabey Mosque: A beautiful example of Seljuk architecture from the 14th century.
At the end of the tour (around 4:00 pm), you will be transferred to Izmir Airport for your evening flight to Kayseri or Nevsehir (via Istanbul). Upon arrival, a All Istanbul Tours representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Cappadocia.

Day 2: Cappadocia Tour – Return Flight to Istanbul
For an additional option, you can book an early morning hot air balloon ride and enjoy breathtaking aerial views of Cappadocia’s valleys. Please note that this activity is available at an extra cost.
After breakfast and hotel check-out, at around 9:30 am you will be picked up for a full-day guided tour of Cappadocia.
On the tour, you will visit:
- Devrent Valley: Known for its unique fairy chimneys.
- Avanos: Famous for pottery-making, with a visit to a traditional workshop.
- Zelve Open Air Museum: Explore ancient cave dwellings and churches carved into the rocks.
- Kaymakli Underground City or Ozkonak Underground City: One of Cappadocia’s fascinating underground cities, built to protect ancient communities from invasions.
- Uchisar: A panoramic viewpoint dominated by its rock castle (interior closed for security reasons).
At the end of the tour (around 4:00 pm), you will be transferred to Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport for your evening return flight (between 7:00 – 10:00 pm) to Istanbul. End of our services.
Please note that on the last day, after your return flight to Istanbul, transportation from Istanbul Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) to your hotel is not included in the tour price.

Important Information
- This is a regular group tour (private tours available upon request at additional cost).
- Regular tours may include shopping stops.
- Transfers are shared; private transfers available at additional cost.
- Return flight to Istanbul will be late evening (between 7:00 – 10:00 pm). If booking an international flight the same night, schedule departure after 1:30 am to avoid risk of missing your flight.
- Hot-air balloon rides operate only in suitable weather conditions. If cancelled, a full refund of EUR 360 will be provided if booked through us.

This was an amazing trip! we got to see so much in just a short amount of time. The Derici hotel in Kusadasi was great, and the Dedeli konak cave hotel in Cappadocia was even better. The hot air balloon ride was the highlight of the trip for me.
