6 Days Cairo, Luxor and Aswan Tour

Arrive any day in Cairo. Upon your arrival in Cairo, you will meet with our company representative in the arrivals area of the Cairo International Airport who will be holding a signboard with your name on it. After meet and greet, you will be transferred from the airport to your hotel in Cairo. Rest of the day will be at leisure.

The day begins with a drive to Giza to see the Three Great Pyramids, the oldest surviving structures built by man; enter one of the Pyramids. Visit the astonishing Solar Boat Museum, housing the oldest known ship in the world buried for over 4500 years.

Stand in awe at the magnificent Sphinx carved out of a single piece of stone, guarding the Giza plateau. Try a camel ride before continuing to the unique Karnak Bazaar for refreshments and some fantastic buys. After lunch, continue to the world-famous Egyptian Museum with objects covering 5000 years of ancient Egyptian civilization; see Tutankhamun’s treasures and enter the fascinating Mummy Room.

After finishing your day tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Early morning flight to Luxor; transfer to your hotel. Morning tour the Valley of the Kings containing the secretive tombs of New Kingdom Pharaohs; enter the Tomb of Tutankhamen. Continue to the famed Colossi of Memnon and Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

After lunch, visit the vast Karnak Temple-Complex, Avenue of the Sphinxes, and the imposing Temple of Luxor. After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Luxor for check-in.

Depart Luxor driving to the Temple of Horus at Edfu, the best preserved of all large Egyptian temples before continuing to Aswan, Egypt’s southernmost city. Sail by motorboat to the beautiful island of Philae to see the Temple of Isis and the Aswan High Dam.

After finishing your long day tour, you will transfer to your hotel in Aswan for check-in.

Return flight to Cairo. Balance of day at leisure, or take an optional tour to Abu Simbel.

Note: On this day, you have the option to join a group tour to the Abu Simbel Temples. This is not included in the standard package and will require an additional payment of €180 per person (pp). Early morning pickup for this tour is around 3:40 AM.
