Choose our 7-Day Exploration of Athens, Olympia, Delphi, and Kalambaka for an unmatched voyage into the heart of classical and ancient Greece. Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Delphi. Visit the archaeological site and the Museum of Delphi. Depart for Kalambaka via Central Greece.
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Kalambaka. Leave in the morning for nearby Meteora to visit Monasteries built on top of rock towers and providing fantastic views over the plain. Meteora is considered one of the most beautiful areas of mainland Greece, and one of the country’s most unique attractions.
Upon your return, you may visit an optional factory of Byzantine-style icons. Return to Athens with stopping at the heroic monument of Leonidas, King of Sparta in Thermopylae.
Arrive at any time. Upon your arrival in Athens, you will be met with our company representative in the arrivals area of the airport who will be holding a signboard with your name on it. After meet and greet, you will then be transferred from the airport to your hotel in Athens.
After hotel check-in, the rest of the day is at leisure on your own.
After breakfast, pick up from the hotel for your half-day Athens morning City Tour. We will begin with a panoramic driving tour of Athens passing by the most important monuments and landmarks of the city. We will marvel at the Panathenaic Stadium, pass by the ex-Royal Palace and today the Prime Minister's residence, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, the Tomb of the unknown soldier, the National Library, the Old Parliament, and Constitution (Syntagma) square to arrive at the Acropolis.
Next, we head for our guided visit to the Acropolis, including the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Parthenon, and the Erechtheion. The remainder of the day at leisure to explore Plaka, the picturesque old part of the city, and why not, some shopping at Ermou Street.
After the trip is completed, we will transfer you back to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Athens. Depart for the Corinth Canal (short stop). Drive to Epidavrus and visit the ancient theatre. Proceed to Nafplia (short stop) and through the plain of Argos arrive at Mycenae. Visit the archaeological site and the tomb of Agamemnon.
In the afternoon depart for Olympia.
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Olympia. Visit the archaeological site of Olympia with the Temple of Zeus, the altar of the Olympic flame, the Stadium, and the Museum. Drive via Patras to Rion, cross the channel on the “state of the art” new suspended bridge (short stop).
In the afternoon visit the picturesque mountain village of Arachova.
After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Athens (hotel check-out is before 11:00 am) and will then be transferred to the Athens International Airport according to your flight details. This will be the end of our tour and services.
