8-Day Classical Jordan Tour
Overview
Spend eight days on a Jordan tour starting and ending at Amman Queen Alia International Airport, visiting Amman, Jerash, the Dead Sea, Madaba, Mount Nebo, Petra, and Wadi Rum. Explore Amman’s city sights and Jerash’s Greco-Roman ruins, then enjoy time to float at a private Dead Sea beach. Continue through Madaba and Mount Nebo, with a fortress visit at Karak or Shobak en route to Petra.
A full day in Petra takes you through the Siq to the Treasury, followed the next day by a two-hour Wadi Rum 4×4 excursion. Stay four nights in Amman, two in Petra, and one at a Wadi Rum camp. Airport transfers, seven breakfasts, and one camp dinner are included, with free time in Amman before departure.

Itinerary
Day 1 Amman Queen Alia International Airport (40 KM)
Welcome to Jordan! Upon arrival at the Jordan International Airport, you will be met by a local representative. He/she will be holding a signboard with your name on it and will assist you through visa formalities. Once you have gathered all of your luggage, you will be transferred to your hotel.
After check-in, the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2 Amman Panoramic City Tour — Jerash — Amman (125 KM)
Breakfast at the hotel. Panoramic tour of the city, known as Philadelphia: start with a viewpoint from the Citadel, continue to the Roman Theater, the city center, traditional markets, churches, and mosques, and then continue to the new modern city.
Departure to Jerash, one of the most complete and best-preserved Greco - Roman cities of the Roman Empire. A walk - through its streets, theaters, temples, and other places like the Great Colonnade Street, Arc of Triumph, the Oval Plaza, as well as the Temples of Zeus and Artemis.
Return to Amman.

Day 3 Amman — Dead Sea — Amman (100 KM)
Breakfast at the hotel. Descend to the Dead Sea and the desert of Moab. Enjoy free time to float in the Dead Sea’s salty waters. (Entrance to a private beach area included). Return to Amman.

Day 4Amman — Madaba — Mount Nebo — Karak or Shobak — Petra (325 KM)
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Madaba the "City of Mosaics", visit the map of the Holy Land dating to the 6th century CE at the Saint George Church. Continue to Mount Nebo, where, according to religious tradition, Moses died as he viewed the Holy Land, with a magnificent view of the Jordan Valley and visit its Franciscan Church.
Then go to Karak or Shobak through the Kings’ Highway, visit its fortress built by the Crusaders in the 12th century CE and later taken by Saladin’s forces. Departure to Petra.

Day 5 Petra (5 – 20 KM)
Breakfast at the hotel. Classic full-day visit of the Nabatean red rose city of Petra, where the movie Indiana Jones was filmed. Petra one of the Seven Wonders of the World, carved out of rock over 2000 years ago. We will access the city through its entrance (Siq) of 1.2 kilometers from there we continue to reach the impressive monumental Treasury (El Khazneh) which was believed to hold countless treasures.
The first view of the “Khazneh” is breath-taking. Other monuments we can see are the Theatre, the Byzantine Church, and the Royal Tombs. (Climb up to the monastery or the altar of sacrifice is on behalf of the clients, without a guide).
Return to hotel.

Day 6 Petra – Wadi Rum (150 KM)
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the desert of Wadi Rum, one of the scenes from the film Lawrence of Arabia and The Martian, starring Matt Damon, also one of the most spectacular settings in the Middle East. This is red desert sand on which granite mountains rise and peaks of red and gold colors penetrate the scenery.
A classic tour in 4x4 local vehicles for the breathtaking scenery of approximately 2 hours. Dinner and overnight at Wadi Rum Camp.

Day 7 Wadi Rum — Amman (350 KM) without Guide
Breakfast and transfer to Amman. The rest of the day is free on your own.

Day 8 Transfer to Amman Queen Alia International Airport (40 KM)
After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Amman (hotel check-out is before 11:00 am). Free time at your leisure then transfer to Amman international airport according to your flight details. This will be the end of our tour and services.

- The order of the itinerary is indicative and subject to change, but all visits described will take place.
- The additional cost for Wadi Rum Martian Tent is €90.00 per person, subject to availability.
- Supplement transfer in from Sheikh Hussein for combined programs with Holy Land is €75.00 per person.
- The guaranteed departures are for a minimum of 2 clients, if one client is traveling alone in a single room we can accept the booking if we have other participants for the same program and dates with supplement transfer Airport – Hotel – Airport of 70 EUR for one client.
- Optional Visit of Petra by night organized by the Ministry of Tourism with their own guides supplement 25 EUR per person on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday without transfers and 35 EUR with transfers from and to the hotel.
- Supplement prices for extra nights and transfers apply.
- Arrival transfers of the mentioned programs are from 6.00 am till 23 hours.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?
If you need to cancel or change your travel dates, you must notify All Istanbul Tours at least 5 days before the tour starts. For a cancellation or date-change request received at least 5 days before the tour starts, the cost of all non-refundable flight and bus tickets will be deducted from the paid balance. For a cancellation or date-change request received less than 5 days before the tour starts, the full amount paid is non-refundable. If a traveler does not appear for the booked service, the reservation is treated as a no-show and the full amount paid is non-refundable.
