Your tour begins at the door of your hotel in Çanakkale at around 8:30 AM, where you will be met by your driver for a 30-minute drive to Troy. Upon arrival, your professional tour guide will introduce you to the rich history and mythology surrounding this legendary site.

You’ll learn about the city’s discovery by Heinrich Schliemann in the 1870s and the archaeological excavations that have uncovered nine layers of settlement, dating back to before 3500 B.C.. Your guide will explain the significance of the city made famous by Homer’s Iliad and the story of the Trojan War.

As you explore, you’ll walk past the still-impressive defensive walls, ancient houses over 3,000 years old, and follow the same paths once used by the people of Troy.

After the tour, you will re-board the tour vehicle for your return to Çanakkale, arriving at approximately 11:30 AM. END OF OUR SERVICES AND TOURS.
