Turkish Rug Shopping Tour
You’ll be picked up from your hotel in Istanbul in a private vehicle, accompanied by a local Turkish rug expert to start your exclusive 3-hour shopping tour. You’ll receive a brief introduction about the rugs before visiting a reputable rug store for a presentation on handmade Turkish carpets, a small, friendly shop, or a wholesaler contact if needed for better pricing. All these locations are in and around the Grand Bazaar.
This tour is designed for travelers who want a safe rug shopping experience with a local expert’s guidance. Turkey is renowned worldwide for their stunning handwoven rugs; however, it’s easy to be deceived or swindled into purchasing something that isn’t of genuine quality and ends up being a poor investment unless you truly know what to look for. The carpets you purchase will be delivered to you with proper licensing and special certification. Once you’ve finished shopping, our private driver will drop you back off at your hotel.
