Stretching from Taksim Square to Tunel Square, the bustling street is lined with late–Ottoman-era buildings built in a variety of architectural styles, ranging from neoclassical to art deco.
Istiklal Avenue, Taksim is a world-famous street located in the Beyoglu district of Istanbul, Turkey. The avenue is over three kilometers long and is one of the busiest streets in Istanbul. Istiklal Avenue is lined with restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and nightclubs. The street is also home to the Turkish consulates of France and Italy.
