Day 4Ephesus Tour – Flight back to Istanbul

After breakfast, check out of your hotel around 8:30 am. You’ll be picked up for an enriching full-day tour of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities and once a major Greek port and cultural center.

Your tour begins with a walk along the Curetes Street, the main avenue of Ephesus, leading you to some of its most remarkable sites. One of the first stops is the Temple of Hadrian, a beautifully preserved structure with intricate reliefs depicting the city’s founding myths. Continuing on, you’ll reach the impressive Great Theater, which could seat up to 25,000 people and is still known for its acoustics. Here, your guide will share stories about the theater’s role in hosting gatherings, dramas, and even gladiatorial contests.

Next, you’ll see the Trajan Fountain, where you can admire its detailed carvings and learn about its significance in the city’s water supply system.

After lunch at a local restaurant, the tour continues to the House of the Virgin Mary, a sacred site nestled on a hillside. This modest stone house is believed to be the place where Mary, mother of Jesus, spent her final years. It remains a pilgrimage site and a place for quiet reflection.

The journey then takes you to the Temple of Artemis. Although only a few columns remain, this once-grand temple was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and a powerful symbol of the city’s importance in ancient times.

Your final stop will be the Isa Bey Mosque, a stunning example of Seljuk architecture from the 14th century, with beautiful courtyards and intricate tile work that reflect the blend of cultures in the region.

At the end of the tour, you’ll be transferred to Izmir Airport for your late evening flight to Istanbul, departing between 7:00 – 10:00 pm. The flight to Istanbul takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. END OF OUR SERVICE AND TOURS.

We highly recommend it as one of Cappadocia's most memorable experiences, weather permitting.

Can I swim at Pamukkale during the tour?

Yes, during your free time after the guided tour of the Cotton Cliffs and Hierapolis, you may choose to swim in the famous Pamukkale Antique Pools. What should I wear when visiting the House of the Virgin Mary and religious sites?

When visiting sacred sites such as the House of the Virgin Mary near Ephesus, we recommend modest clothing that covers your shoulders and knees out of respect. Comfortable walking shoes are also essential, as the tours involve plenty of walking across ancient ruins and natural terrain. Lightweight, breathable clothing works best, especially during the warmer months.

Which hotels will we stay in during this tour?

In Cappadocia you'll stay in an authentic cave hotel such as Heaven Cave House, Dedeli Konak Cave Hotel, or Zula Cave House (or similar, Standard quality). In Kusadasi, your accommodation will be at the Efe Boutique Hotel, Neopol Hotel Deluxe, or Derici Hotel (or similar, Standard quality). All hotels are comfortable and well-located, with breakfast included for your two-night stay in Kusadasi.

Is Turkey safe for tourists?

Yes, Turkey is a popular and welcoming destination that attracts millions of visitors each year, and the regions on this tour—Cappadocia, Pamukkale, and Ephesus—are well-established tourist areas. As a licensed agency operating since 2007, we ensure you are accompanied by professional guides and trusted local representatives throughout. As with any travel, we recommend standard common-sense precautions for a smooth and enjoyable trip.

What is the best time to visit Cappadocia?

The best times to visit Cappadocia are spring (April to June) and autumn (September to November), when the weather is mild and ideal for exploring the valleys and enjoying a hot air balloon ride. Summers can be hot but are still popular, while winters offer a magical snow-dusted landscape. This tour can be enjoyed year-round, with each season offering its own unique charm.

Do I need a visa for Turkey?

Many nationalities can enter Turkey visa-free or obtain an easy e-Visa online before traveling, though requirements vary by country. We recommend checking the official Turkish e-Visa website or consulting your local Turkish consulate well in advance of your trip. Be sure to have your valid passport and any required visa ready before your early-morning departure from Istanbul.

If you need to cancel your tour or change your travel dates, please notify us at least 5 days before the tour start date. As this tour includes domestic flights and bus tickets, which are non-refundable, the cost of these tickets will be deducted from your payment and the remaining balance refunded to you. Négy nap, három város, két gyerek és minden klappolt

    Traveled January 2026

Januárban voltunk a gyerekekkel, és tartottam tőle, hogy a hajnali kelés meg a sok program sok lesz nekik, de végül remekül bírták. A foglalásnál Serdar nagyon türelmes volt, mindenre válaszolt előre. Kappadókiában Murat vitt minket körbe, a tündérkéményeknél a kicsik tátott szájjal bámultak. A Dedeli barlangszálloda igazi élmény volt, a gyerekek imádták. Pamukkale és Efezus már Eliffel ment, ő is kedves és pontos volt. Repülő, transzferek, minden időben jött. Köszi a szervezést.

I did the 4 day tour from Istanbul to Cappadocia, Pamukkale and Ephesus and it was very well organised. Transfers were on time, the hotels were clean, and the guide explained the history at each site without overdoing it. As a solo traveller, I felt looked after but still had enough space. Thank you to Ayhan Mandaci at All Istanbul Tours for making the logistics easy.

We had 4 days to visit Turkey and booked a full 4-day schedule to see Cappadocia, Ephesus, Pamukkale and Hieropolis and quickly fly back to Istanbul to catch our flight on the 5th day.

Our tour coordinator met us on the first day and exchanged contact info so that he would be easy to reach. This was very useful as on the second day, due to one of the airlines’ fault, we missed our connection in Istanbul when transferring to Izmir, which then delayed everything as we had a tour scheduled for the next morning which we would miss. When contacted, the tour coordinator at the agency was quick to react and make changes to accommodate us such that we could still see everything we had planned and still get back to Istanbul in time for our flight.

Our only recommended improvement would have been that they include the transport back to our hotel from the airport but it’s ok as they had clearly told us that this was not included so we planned ahead.

Our travels were thus (almost ) worry-free – thanks to their Good work.

First time to travel solo and they made my experience so fun! Coordination, hotels, tour guides are all superb. Never had any trouble and I didn’t even have worry a single bit as they handled everything professionally. All tour guides are knowledgeable and make jokes which makes the tour more fun. All land transportation arrangements are also on time (pick up and drop off). I was hesitant at first since the tour was cheaper than other companies but good thing I went ahead and chose them as my travel agent. Will definitely go with them again on my next turkey trip.

I would like to thank you very much for your arrangements during our trip which we have made it with you. We were very happy with all the services; transport, accommodation, guiding during 4 Days trip by visiting of Cappadocia, Pamukkale, and Ephesus. At the beginning of our trip we thought that will be very hectic and tiring for us, but just the opposite it has been very enjoyable and relaxable with us. So we can recommend you to book your package with this travel agent.

We had a wonderful time in Turkey, and it was in great part due to Mr. Berber’s excellent planning of our trip. The holiday cave hotel he chose for us in Cappadocia was absolutely perfect: great location and very helpful staff. The hot air balloon ride over the ancient ruins was breathtaking! It was well worth the price.

    Dear Bilal,

We just returned back to India after a 2 weeks trip to Turkey and Jordan. I would like to thank you and Can Bieber for the wonderful arrangement that your agency made during our full day tour of Istanbul as well as our 4 day trip to Pamukkale /Ephesus/Cappadocia. We had great time and was very happy with our first balloon ride.

We request you to please inform the officials of your Ephesus team that we really enjoyed the trip thanks to very passionate, very knowledgeable and energetic guide Marcy. She made buildings and artifacts which were 2000 years old; almost come to life….

Our only not so good experience was when we landed at Cappadocia at around 12 in the night and the team who had come to receive us was not well organized as we reached the hotel heaven cave at 2.30 in the night

Once again thanks a lot for all your help and being so patient with us during the entire process. If asked by our friends or relatives we will have no hesitation in recommending your agency to them.

    Regards

    Sunil

We took a 4 days package which covered Cappadocia, pamukkale, kusadasi and ephesus. All the itinerary was perfectly planned. The booking was very smooth but I hesitated it before as I was unfamiliar with the tour agency but I took a chance and went a head. as soon as I booked, Mr Bilal looked after my domestic air tickets and made all required arrangements and a day before Can Berber explained me my package details once again. Everything was perfect from the day one to the last date. Even the tiny problems were solved within minutes of a phone call made which was very impressive. i would strongly recommend one tour nation tour agency to others.
