3-Day Cappadocia Highlights Tour from Kayseri Airport
Overview
Cappadocia’s rock formations are only part of what you’ll explore on this three-day group tour. At Pasabag Valley, you’ll see mushroom-shaped pinnacles, while Zelve Open Air Museum reveals caves and churches carved into the rock. Your licensed English-speaking guide helps connect these landscapes with the settlements you’ll visit. You’ll also stop in Avanos and see Uchisar’s natural rock castles from outside.
This itinerary gives you time on foot, with a 5 km hike through Rose Valley and a separate 4 km walk through Ihlara Valley. Underground visits provide a different perspective: you’ll explore Kaymakli or Ozkonak, plus Derinkuyu Underground City. Three lunches, listed entrance fees, and itinerary transfers are included. You choose and book your own Cappadocia hotel, and flights are separate. Start from Kayseri or Nevsehir airport, or your Cappadocia hotel, and finish with an airport drop-off or a return to your hotel.

Itinerary
Day 1Zelve Open Air Museum & Fairy Chimneys Tour
You'll be picked up from Kayseri or Nevsehir airport, or from your hotel in Cappadocia, for your North Cappadocia tour. If you're arriving by plane, your flight must arrive before 9:00 AM to join today's sightseeing.
Begin your guided tour at Devrent Valley, where you'll see fairy chimneys. Continue to Pasabag Valley (Monks Valley) to see its mushroom-shaped pinnacles. Then drive to Avanos.
Lunch is included before your visit to Zelve Open Air Museum. Explore carved caves and ancient churches that reflect the area's monastic past. Your final stop is the natural rock castles of Uchisar, viewed from outside only; the interiors aren't accessible on this tour.
Wear comfortable walking shoes for the outdoor sites, and bring water and sun protection. You'll be transferred to your hotel at around 4:00 PM. The rest of the day is free for independent exploring or optional activities at an additional cost.

Day 2Rose Valley & Kaymakli or Ozkonak Underground City
You'll depart from your Cappadocia hotel at around 9:30 AM for today's guided tour. If you'd like an earlier start, you can book an optional hot air balloon ride at an additional cost.
Visit Red Valley and explore rock-cut churches before hiking 5 km through Rose Valley (Gulludere Vadisi). Then continue to Cavusin Village to see its houses and churches. Wear sturdy walking shoes, and bring water, a hat, and sun protection for the hike.
After your included lunch, drive to Pigeon Valley (Guvercinlik Vadisi). In the afternoon, explore Kaymakli Underground City or Ozkonak Underground City. You'll visit one of these underground settlements, not both.
You'll be transferred back to your hotel at around 4:00 PM. Your hotel stay is arranged separately and isn't included in the package.

Day 3Derinkuyu Underground City & Ihlara Valley
You'll depart from your Cappadocia hotel at around 9:30 AM for Derinkuyu Underground City. Explore the carved underground settlement with your guide before continuing to Ihlara.
At Ihlara Valley, you'll explore rock-cut churches and hike 4 km through the valley. Wear sturdy walking shoes and bring water and sun protection. Lunch is included during today's tour.
On the way back, visit the monasteries in Selime village (Guzelyurt). Today's sightseeing is scheduled to end at 4:00 PM.
After the tour, we'll drop you off directly at Kayseri or Nevsehir airport. If you're continuing your stay in Cappadocia, we'll take you back to your hotel instead.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?
If you need to cancel or change your travel dates, you must notify All Istanbul Tours at least 5 days before the tour starts. For a cancellation or date-change request received at least 5 days before the tour starts, the cost of all non-refundable flight and bus tickets will be deducted from the paid balance. For a cancellation or date-change request received less than 5 days before the tour starts, the full amount paid is non-refundable. If a traveler does not appear for the booked service, the reservation is treated as a no-show and the full amount paid is non-refundable.
