Your route brings together time by the water, walking among carved stone monuments and a desert jeep ride. You’ll travel with your own party, with local guiding focused on Petra rather than a tour-long escort.
At Petra, your private local guide introduces the Siq, Treasury, Street of Facades, Royal Tombs and Pharaoh’s Castle. Independent time afterward lets you keep exploring, including the optional climb to Monastery El Deir. In Wadi Rum, dinner and a desert camp stay lead into a jeep tour among dunes, rock inscriptions and Khazali Canyon. You’ll also visit the Mamluk Fort in Aqaba, then choose how to spend your free time before the drive to Amman. Three nights of accommodation and both airport transfers connect the route, ending at Amman International Airport.

Itinerary
Day 1Arrival in Amman, Dead Sea Beach and Petra
We'll meet you at Amman Airport, holding a sign just outside the immigration area. You'll meet your English-speaking driver and begin your private drive to the Dead Sea. The journey to the beach takes about one hour.
Take some time to float in the salty water before continuing south. Beach admission and a towel are included. Bring your swimsuit, sun protection and shoes suitable for the shore; walking today centers on the beach stop.
From the Dead Sea, it's about a three-hour drive to Petra. We'll take you to your hotel for your first overnight stay in Jordan.

Day 2Petra Walking Tour and Wadi Rum Desert Camp
Head into Petra today, meeting your private local guide upon arrival at the site. You can choose a start as early as around 6:00 AM. If you'd like that early start, request a breakfast box from your hotel the day before.
Walk through the sandstone canyon of the Siq to the Treasury. Continue along the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. Your English-speaking guide stays with you for 2.5 hours, finishing at the restaurant area.
You'll then have free time to explore independently before returning to the main gate. If you want a longer climb, take the roughly 800 steps to Monastery El Deir. This is the trip's main walking day, with uneven ground and an optional steep climb. Wear sturdy shoes and bring water, a hat and sun protection.
In the afternoon, drive about 1.5 hours to Wadi Rum. Dinner is included at your desert camp, where you'll spend the night. Bring a layer for the evening outdoors.

Day 3Wadi Rum Jeep Tour, Aqaba and Amman
After breakfast, you'll explore Wadi Rum on a three-hour 4×4 jeep tour. Stops include Nabatean rock inscriptions, sand dunes, Khazali Canyon and a natural rock bridge.
Expect walking at the desert stops, with sand and uneven surfaces underfoot. Wear secure shoes and bring water, sun protection and a hat. The jeep ride covers the route between stops.
Continue to Aqaba on the Red Sea and visit the Mamluk Fort. Afterward, you'll have free time to walk through the Souq, sit at a café or visit a private beach. Beach admission here is optional and isn't included; bring swimwear if you're considering it.
Finish with about a four-hour drive to Amman. We'll take you to your hotel for check-in and your final overnight stay.

Day 4Amman Airport Departure
After breakfast, you'll check out of your Amman hotel. Hotel check-out is before 11:00 AM.
Keep your passport and flight documents handy for the journey. Today is a transfer day, with no scheduled sightseeing walks; comfortable travel clothes are a good choice.
We'll pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Amman International Airport according to your flight details. Your tour services end at the airport.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?
If you need to cancel or change your travel dates, you must notify All Istanbul Tours at least 5 days before the tour starts. For a cancellation or date-change request received at least 5 days before the tour starts, the cost of all non-refundable flight and bus tickets will be deducted from the paid balance. For a cancellation or date-change request received less than 5 days before the tour starts, the full amount paid is non-refundable. If a traveler does not appear for the booked service, the reservation is treated as a no-show and the full amount paid is non-refundable.
