Travel from Istanbul on a full-day Gallipoli Day Trip with European-side hotel or hostel pickup, air-conditioned transport, lunch in Eceabat, and an English-speaking guide. After arriving in Eceabat, follow a fully guided route through key Gallipoli battlefield sites including ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine Cemetery, Johnston’s Jolly, The Nek, and Chunuk Bair. The program also visits Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery with John Simpson’s Grave, Ari Burnu, Shrapnel Valley viewpoints, the Turkish Memorial, and Walker’s Ridge. At 6:00 AM, you'll be picked up from your Taksim-area hotel or hostel, or around 6:30 AM from the Sultanahmet-area pickup point, then we'll head west in an air-conditioned shared vehicle. The drive to Eceabat is about 310 kilometers and usually takes five to six hours with comfort stops. This is a regular group departure, with a small-group feel once you're at the sites.
Around 12:00 PM, you'll arrive in Eceabat for lunch, which is included. It is usually a simple local set menu, and a vegetarian option can be arranged if you tell us in advance. At 1:00 PM, your guide starts the fully guided tour of the Gallipoli Peninsula.
During the afternoon, you'll visit Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery with John Simpson's grave, Anzac Cove, and Ari Burnu, the first ANZAC landing area. You'll also stop at Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnston’s Jolly, the ANZAC trenches, Shrapnel Valley viewpoints, the Turkish Memorial, The Nek, Walker’s Ridge, and Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial.
Expect about 2 to 3 kilometers of walking through cemeteries, memorial paths, uneven ground, and trench areas. Wear comfortable shoes, bring a hat, sunglasses, water, and a light jacket if you're traveling outside summer. Gallipoli can be hot, windy, and exposed, and some memorials can be crowded on busy dates.
Around 6:00 PM, you'll leave Gallipoli and return to Istanbul by shared vehicle. The return drive usually takes about five hours, depending on traffic and rest stops. You should be back in Istanbul around 11:00 PM, with drop-off at your European-side hotel or the agreed point. END OF OUR SERVICE AND TOURS
Yes. This is a regular shared group tour with fixed pickup times. The vehicle size depends on the number of travelers, but your guide keeps the battlefield visit easy to follow.
Pickup is available from eligible hotels or hostels on the European side of Istanbul, mainly Taksim and Sultanahmet areas. If your hotel is outside the route, we'll confirm the closest meeting point.

I really enjoyed my tour of Gallipoli today the guide was fantastic and full of useful knowledge and the driver was fantastic I felt safe the whole way there and back even with ic on some parts of the road from snow.
All was as described. We were picked up from our hotel in Istanbul for the 4 hour drive (once all pickups had been made) to the Gallipoli Peninsular. There was a half hour break on the way to and from Eceabat. We had a good lunch at a local restaurant. Both drivers on the way to and from the Gallipoli Peninsular were excellent. Burak was our highly knowledgeable guide for the afternoon and he explained the history from not only the British, Australian, New Zealand perspective but also explained the history from the Turkish perspective. Would highly recommend this trip.

As a New Zealander I found Gallipoli a very though provoking place to visit. The guide provided was excellent and the group small enough that we could all hear. The long trip (5+ hours each way) was worth it just to visit the sites at Gallipoli.
