Your tour starts at 6:30 AM with a pickup from your hotel in Istanbul. You'll be traveling in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle directly to Çanakkale, the location of the ancient city of Troy. Expect to arrive in Eceabat/Çanakkale by 12:15 PM, where you'll have some time to enjoy lunch and relax a bit before the tour begins.
After your lunch break, your exploration of Troy starts. You'll meet your English-speaking guide who will take you through the historical site. You'll see the iconic Trojan Horse, explore ancient sacrificial altars, and marvel at the 3700-year-old city walls. The tour takes you through the ruins of Troy I, dating back to 3000 - 2500 B.C., and includes visits to significant sites like the Bouleuterium (the ancient city's Senate Building) and the Odeon (the concert hall). You'll also have the chance to observe ongoing archaeological excavations and learn about the history of all the settlements from Troy I to Troy IX.
At the end of the tour, around 5:00 PM, you'll begin the journey back to Istanbul. You're expected to arrive back at your hotel around 10:00 PM. End of tour and services.
