The Great Sphinx of Giza is one of the most famous and recognizable monuments in the world. The massive stone sculpture, which dates back to around 2500 BC, is located in the Egyptian city of Giza and is a symbol of Ancient Egyptian culture. The Sphinx is believed to represent the Pharaoh Khafre, who commissioned its construction, and it is thought to have been meant to guard the entrance to the Pharaoh’s tomb.
