Across Istanbul, Cappadocia and Antalya, this 10-day group tour starts and ends in Istanbul, combining historic landmarks with time to explore independently. Begin with an airport transfer and free time before a guided day visiting Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome and Topkapi Palace. A lunch stop at a local restaurant and a visit to the Grand Bazaar round out the day.
The following morning pairs the Spice Market with a shared Bosphorus Cruise, offering views of palaces and both the European and Asian shorelines. The route then continues to Cappadocia, where the program lists a North Cappadocia tour, with Antalya also on the itinerary.
When your flight arrives at Istanbul New Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gökcen Airport (SAW), we'll be waiting for you. Look for our team at the exit of international arrivals, holding a sign with your name. You'll then transfer to your hotel for check-in.
Depending on your arrival time, the rest of the afternoon is yours to explore Istanbul independently. Keep it light with a look around the streets near your hotel, or rest after your flight. Walking is optional today, so you can choose your own pace and distance. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water if you head out, especially in warm weather.
For an optional evening outing, you can book the Night Cruise on the Bosphorus with Dinner & Show at an additional cost. You'll see the waterfront along the Bosphorus Strait, with dinner and entertainment included in the cruise price.
No meals are included in today's tour. If you keep your evening free, you can choose a local restaurant for dinner at your own expense. You'll stay overnight in Istanbul.
After breakfast, you'll be picked up from your hotel at around 8:30 AM to explore Istanbul with your guide and fellow travelers. You'll start at Hagia Sophia, completed in 537 AD as a cathedral and now an active mosque. Your guide will explain its Christian and Islamic heritage.
Next, visit the Blue Mosque, known for its blue Iznik tiles and six minarets. You'll continue to the Byzantine Hippodrome, where crowds once gathered for chariot races. Here, you'll see the Obelisk of Theodosius, Serpent Column, and German Fountain.
We'll pause for lunch at a local restaurant, with traditional Turkish food on the menu. Then, you'll explore Topkapi Palace, home to Ottoman sultans for nearly 400 years. Its courtyards and treasury displays offer a closer look at life at the Ottoman court. The Harem, the imperial family's private quarters, is an optional visit.
Your final stop is the Grand Bazaar, with covered lanes lined with carpets, ceramics, and jewelry. Expect substantial walking and standing throughout the day, including palace courtyards and crowded market lanes. Wear comfortable shoes, bring water, and keep shoulders and knees covered for mosque visits; women should bring a headscarf. Mosque access depends on prayer times, and security lines can mean some waiting.
You'll be transferred back to your hotel at around 5:00 PM, with the evening free. You can choose a local restaurant for dinner at your own expense. You'll stay overnight in Istanbul.
After breakfast, you'll meet your guide and fellow travelers at around 8:30 AM before setting out to explore the Bosphorus. We'll drive to the pier in Eminönü, with a short visit to the nearby Spice Bazaar. Also called the Egyptian Bazaar, its stalls sell spices, dried fruit, and Turkish delight.
Next, you'll board a shared boat for a cruise along the Bosphorus Strait. This waterway separates Europe and Asia and connects the Black Sea with the Sea of Marmara. You'll see both shorelines, with waterfront mansions and citadels along the way.
Look out for Dolmabahce Palace and Beylerbeyi Palace from the water. You'll also see the Bosphorus Bridge linking the two continents. These are views from the boat, rather than stops for interior visits.
Walking is limited mainly to the bazaar and getting to and from the boat. Wear comfortable shoes for crowded market aisles, and bring sunscreen and a light layer for the breeze.
After the cruise, we'll transfer you back to your hotel at around 12:30 PM. The afternoon and evening are free, with another overnight in Istanbul. You can choose a local restaurant for dinner at your own expense.
After breakfast, you'll have time before your late afternoon flight from Istanbul to Kayseri or Nevsehir. Keep your travel documents handy and leave room in your plans for airport check-in.
When you arrive, we'll meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Cappadocia. You'll check in, and the rest of the day is free. There are no scheduled sightseeing stops today.
Walking today is mainly through the airports, plus any exploring you choose after check-in. Wear comfortable shoes and keep a light layer in your carry-on for the flight.
For dinner, you can choose a local restaurant at your own expense, perhaps trying testi kebab, meat cooked in a clay pot. You'll spend the night in Cappadocia.
After breakfast, you'll be picked up from your hotel at around 9:30 AM to explore North Cappadocia with your guide and fellow travelers. If you'd like an earlier start, you can book an optional hot air balloon ride at extra cost. Balloon flights depend on weather conditions.
You'll start at Devrent Valley, where erosion has shaped rocks into forms resembling animals. Next, visit Pasabag Valley (Monks Valley) to see its mushroom-shaped pinnacles. Expect walking between viewpoints and cave buildings, with uneven ground and some steps. Wear comfortable shoes with good grip, and bring water, sunscreen, and a hat for exposed paths.
We'll drive to Avanos, a town known for pottery and ceramics, for your lunch stop. Then you'll explore Zelve Open Air Museum, with rock-cut homes, churches, and traces of monastic life. Your guide will help you make sense of how people lived within these volcanic slopes.
Your final stop gives you about 15 minutes to photograph Uchisar Castle from outside. This is an exterior photo stop only, with no entry inside the castle. The tour ends at around 4:00 PM, followed by your transfer back to the hotel.
The rest of your day is free, with optional activities available at extra cost. Choose a Turkish Night show with dinner, a two-hour ATV tour, or a two-hour horseback riding tour. A one-hour Whirling Dervish show is another option. You'll stay overnight in Cappadocia.
After breakfast, you'll be picked up from your hotel at around 9:30 AM and meet your guide. You'll set out with your fellow travelers to explore South Cappadocia. Your guide will explain the day's route before your first stop.
You'll start at Red Valley, exploring churches carved into the rock. Then you'll hike approximately 5 km through Rose Valley (Gulludere Vadisi), passing folds of pink-toned volcanic rock. Wear comfortable walking shoes with good grip, and bring water, sunscreen, and a hat. Expect uneven trails and extra walking at the village and underground city.
Next, you'll visit Cavusin Village to see its old houses and Christian churches. You'll pause for your included lunch at around noon before continuing to Pigeon Valley (Guvercinlik Vadisi). Look for pigeon houses cut into the cliffs, once used to collect droppings for fertilizer.
In the afternoon, you'll explore either Kaymakli Underground City or Ozkonak Underground City. These underground spaces sheltered Christian communities during periods of danger. Passages can be narrow, with low ceilings and steps, so tell your guide if enclosed spaces concern you.
We'll transfer you back to your hotel at around 4:00 PM, with the rest of the day free. You'll stay overnight in Cappadocia. For dinner, you can choose a local restaurant at your own expense.
After breakfast, you'll check out of your hotel in Cappadocia. We'll pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Kayseri airport for your flight to Antalya. Keep your ID and flight details handy for check-in.
When you arrive, we'll meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Once you've checked in, the rest of the day is free.
If you'd like to explore, you can visit Kaleiçi independently for old-town lanes and views of the harbor. Walking today is mainly through the airports, with any extra exploring at your own pace. Wear comfortable shoes for uneven paving, and bring sunscreen and water if you head out.
Tonight, you can choose a local restaurant for dinner at your own expense. You'll stay overnight in Antalya.
After breakfast, you'll be picked up from your Antalya hotel at around 8:00 AM. You'll set out with your guide and fellow travelers for Perge, an ancient city in the Pamphylia region. Its colonnaded streets and public baths show how daily life worked here under Roman rule.
Next, we'll visit Aspendos Ancient Theatre, built in the second century AD. You'll see its tiers of stone seating and the tall stage building that still survives. Expect substantial walking across the day's ancient sites, including uneven paving and steps. Wear comfortable shoes, and bring water, sunscreen, and a hat, as shade is limited.
We'll pause for lunch at a riverside restaurant before continuing to Side, pronounced “Seeday.” The menu varies, so you'll find out what's being served at the restaurant. This former port has a Roman theater, bath buildings, and the seafront Temple of Apollo. You'll have one hour of free time to explore and spend time by the sea.
On the return trip, we'll stop at Manavgat Waterfall, where the river spills over a broad, low ledge. The viewing areas can get crowded, and surfaces near the water may be slippery. Afterward, we'll drive you back to your hotel for your overnight stay in Antalya.
After breakfast, you'll check out of your hotel in Antalya. We'll pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Antalya airport for your flight to Istanbul.
Keep your passport and flight details handy, and wear comfortable shoes for walking through the airports. Today's walking is mainly between check-in, security, and your departure gate.
When you arrive in Istanbul, we'll meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, the rest of your evening is free, with no scheduled sightseeing. You can explore on your own and keep any extra walking at your own pace.

Flights depend on suitable weather, so the ride cannot be guaranteed.
For Hagia Sophia, an active mosque, wear clothing covering your shoulders and knees; women should also bring a scarf to cover their hair. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for Cappadocia and the ancient sites of Perge, Aspendos, and Side, where surfaces can be uneven.
