Experience the 2-Day Pamukkale and Ephesus Tour from Istanbul by Flight, where ancient wonders meet natural beauty. On the first day, explore the UNESCO site of Hierapolis with its Roman Baths, Temple of Apollo, and Necropolis, then walk barefoot on the stunning Pamukkale travertine terraces, with an optional swim in Cleopatra’s Pool. Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Istanbul around 4:00 AM and transferred to the airport for your flight to Denizli. Upon arrival, you will be met by your tour guide and begin your full-day tour of Pamukkale and Hierapolis.
First, explore the ancient city of Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk through historical landmarks such as the Necropolis, Roman Baths, Temple of Apollo, Theater, and Cleopatra’s Antique Pool (optional entrance, extra cost).
Next, you’ll have the chance to walk barefoot on the famous Pamukkale travertine terraces, also known as the "Cotton Castle," where thermal waters have created stunning white calcium formations over thousands of years.
After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kuşadası for check-in.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will check out and be picked up at 8:30 AM for a full-day tour of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the world.
You will explore the highlights of Ephesus, including the Library of Celsus, Great Theater, Temple of Hadrian, and Trajan Fountain.
After lunch, visit the House of the Virgin Mary, believed to be the final home of Mary, the mother of Jesus. You will also see the remains of the Temple of Artemis, once one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
At the end of the tour, around 4:00 PM, you will be transferred to Izmir Airport for your evening flight back to Istanbul, departing between 7:00 and 10:00 PM. END OF OUR SERVICES AND TOUR.
