Explore Cappadocia over three days from Istanbul, with return flights to Kayseri or Nevsehir, guided sightseeing on each day, and two nights in a cave hotel. Day one covers northern Cappadocia: Devrent Valley, the mushroom-shaped rocks of Pasabag, the pottery workshops of Avanos, the Zelve Open Air Museum, and photo stops at Uchisar Castle.
Day two heads south through Red Valley, a five-kilometre hike in Rose Valley, Cavusin Village, Pigeon Valley, and an underground city at Kaymakli or Ozkonak. On the final day you descend into Derinkuyu Underground City, hike about four kilometres through Ihlara Valley, and see the rock-cut monasteries at Selime before flying back to Istanbul. Lunches and hotel breakfasts are included, and balloon rides, ATV tours and evening shows can be added for an extra cost.
Your day starts early, with pickup from your Istanbul hotel at around 4:00 AM. Pickup from eligible hotels may be around 3:50 AM, depending on your flight schedule. Your flight to Kayseri or Nevsehir departs between 6:00 and 7:30 AM. We'll greet you on arrival and transfer you to Cappadocia, where you'll meet your guide and fellow travelers.
Start your North Cappadocia tour among the animal-like rock formations of Devrent Valley. Next, see the mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys at Pasabag Valley (Monks Valley). In Avanos, you'll watch artisans demonstrate the town's pottery-making tradition.
After your included restaurant lunch, explore cave dwellings and rock-cut churches at Zelve Open Air Museum. Finish with an exterior photo stop at Uchisar Castle; entry isn't included. Expect several walks over uneven ground and steps, rather than one continuous hike. Wear hiking shoes and bring water, sun protection, a camera, and a layer for the early start.
Sightseeing ends at around 4:00 PM, followed by your transfer to the cave hotel for check-in. Your evening is free unless you book the optional Turkish Night show. Its music, folk dancing, and dinner cost extra and aren't included in the base package.
After breakfast, you'll meet your guide and fellow travelers at around 9:30 AM before setting out to explore South Cappadocia. Pickup is from your hotel. If you book the optional hot air balloon ride, it takes place early that morning, before breakfast and sightseeing. Ballooning costs extra and depends on weather, flight approval, and availability.
Begin at Red Valley, where you'll explore rock-cut churches. Follow a roughly 5 km hiking route through Rose Valley (Gulludere Vadisi), passing eroded rock formations. Continue to Cavusin Village to see cave houses and churches.
After your included restaurant lunch, see cliff-carved pigeon houses at Pigeon Valley. Then explore either Kaymakli Underground City or Ozkonak Underground City, not both. These underground rooms and passages sheltered communities during periods of danger.
Alongside the hike, expect steps, low ceilings, and narrow underground passages. Wear hiking shoes and bring water, sun protection, and a light layer. Trails can be dusty and hot, so come prepared for sustained walking.
The tour ends at around 4:00 PM, and we'll transfer you back to your hotel. Optional extras are a 2-hour ATV tour, a 2-hour horseback riding tour, or a 1-hour Whirling Dervish show, subject to availability. If you keep the evening free, you can choose a local restaurant for dinner at your own expense.
After breakfast, you'll meet your guide and fellow travelers at around 9:30 AM before setting out to explore Derinkuyu Underground City and Ihlara Valley. Check out before your hotel pickup and bring your luggage for the airport transfer later. At Derinkuyu, you'll descend into rooms and passages used by communities seeking shelter. Expect steep steps, low ceilings, and enclosed spaces.
Next, hike approximately 4 km through Ihlara Valley, visiting rock-cut churches along the route. Restaurant lunch is included, with the stop's timing following the touring schedule. Afterward, explore Selime Monastery in Selime Village, in the Guzelyurt district. Wear hiking shoes and bring water, sun protection, and a layer for the cooler underground visit.
Sightseeing ends at around 3:30 PM, followed by your transfer to Kayseri or Nevsehir airport. Your return flight to Istanbul departs between 7:00 and 10:00 PM, subject to availability. Flying time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, so arrival may be later than 10:00 PM. Dinner isn't included; plan to buy a meal according to your flight schedule.
On arrival in Istanbul, you'll arrange your own onward transportation. The transfer from Istanbul Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) to your hotel isn't included. No accommodation is provided tonight. END OF OUR SERVICE AND TOURS

Day 1 has several walks over uneven ground and steps. Day 2 includes roughly 5 km through Rose Valley, and Day 3 includes about 4 km through Ihlara Valley. Underground visits add steep steps and narrow passages. Tell us about mobility concerns or claustrophobia before booking.
You'll visit Zelve Open Air Museum on Day 1, either Kaymakli Underground City or Ozkonak Underground City on Day 2, and Derinkuyu Underground City on Day 3. Goreme Open Air Museum isn't part of this itinerary. Uchisar Castle is an exterior photo stop, without entry.

Your return flight departs Cappadocia between 7:00 and 10:00 PM and takes about 90 minutes. Arrival may be later than 10:00 PM. Don't assume a 12:30 AM connection is safe. Check your issued flights, airport, baggage arrangements, and connection requirements before booking onward travel.
This package uses scheduled group tours, with participant numbers that can vary. Pickups and sightseeing departures follow the confirmed schedule rather than your preferred timing. You can request a private version at extra cost.

Our 3-Day Cappadocia Tour from Istanbul was unforgettable. Flights, transfers, and hotel were all smooth, and the cave hotel gave a real local touch. The hot air balloon ride at sunrise was magical and worth every moment. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, making the trip even more special. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
We did a 3 days 2 nights tour. There was heavy snow during our stay which limited some of the walks and the balloon ride was cancelled. That was a bummer but the One Nation Team wasn’t to blame for the weather and they did a great job. The tours are very well organized and guided. Our guides were friendly and informative and all locals to the area. Our guide Mehmet, on two of the days, was particularly good. We enjoyed talking with him throughout.
Great visit but if I had to do it again I think 2 days 1 night is sufficient to see all the key sites.
We’ve recently returned from a mesmerizing three-day adventure to Cappadocia, organized by All Istanbul Tours. This journey was rendered even more spectacular with a magical hot air balloon ride and an enthralling Turkish night show. The experience was undeniably remarkable. We were guided by two phenomenal local guides who consistently provided insightful answers to our queries and remained perfectly punctual at all times.

I found this tour through All Istanbul Tours website and it was so easy to book. I didn’t have to worry about making my reservation with a travel agent. The 3 Day trip to Cappadocia was also affordable and took us to such a beautiful place. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and informative, and my wife and I both loved our hotel. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great trip, amazing tour guide – very glad I did this. All Istanbul Tourstravel.com offers student pricing and were very kind to me about helping to get the discount. Cappadocia is a great site and I was so glad I went!
