Itinerary
Day 1Fly from Istanbul to Cappadocia, Goreme Open Air Museum and Fairy Chimneys
After breakfast at your own expense, you'll take your scheduled hotel transfer for an early morning flight from Istanbul to Kayseri or Nevsehir. Your pickup time will depend on the flight, so plan breakfast accordingly. On arrival, we'll transfer you to Cappadocia to meet your guide and fellow travelers.
Your sightseeing begins at Devrent Valley, where erosion has shaped the rock into unusual forms. Next, you'll see the mushroom-shaped pinnacles of Pasabag Valley. Continue to Avanos, a town known for its pottery tradition.
Lunch is included today; the menu will depend on the restaurant. In the afternoon, explore the rock-cut churches and Christian settlements at Goreme Open Air Museum. Your final sightseeing stop is the natural rock fortress at Uchisar Castle.
Expect moderate walking across uneven ground and steps, with breaks during drives between stops. Bring comfortable walking shoes, water, sunscreen, and a camera; exposed paths can get hot. After the tour, we'll transfer you to your cave hotel for check-in. Your evening is free, and you can choose a local restaurant for dinner at your own expense.

Day 2Red Valley, Rose Valley and Kaymakli Underground City
After breakfast, you'll meet your guide and fellow travelers at around 9:30 AM before setting out to explore Red Valley. Pickup is from your Cappadocia hotel. You'll explore rock-cut churches before hiking about 5 km through Güllüdere Valley (Rose Valley).
Next, visit Çavuşin village, where houses and churches were carved into the rock. You'll learn about the Christian communities that once lived here. After your included lunch, continue to Pigeon Valley to see dovecotes cut into the valley walls.
In the afternoon, head underground at Kaymakli Underground City. Its connected rooms, storage spaces, and tunnels served as shelter during periods of danger. Some passages are low and narrow, so you'll need to bend as you walk.
Today's walking includes the 5 km hike, village paths, and underground stairs. Wear hiking shoes and bring water, sun protection, and a light layer for the cooler tunnels. We'll transfer you back to your hotel at around 4:00 PM. Breakfast and lunch are included; dinner and drinks are at your own expense.

Day 3Derinkuyu Underground City, Ihlara Valley and Return Flight to Istanbul
After breakfast, you'll meet your guide and fellow travelers at around 9:30 AM before setting out to explore Derinkuyu Underground City. Pickup is from your Cappadocia hotel. You'll explore a multilevel underground settlement used as a refuge, including by Christian communities.
Next, continue to Ihlara Valley for rock-cut churches and a hike of about 4 km. The trail follows the river through a steep-sided gorge. Lunch is included today, with the menu determined by the restaurant.
Before the tour finishes, visit the rock-cut monastic complex at Selime Monastery in Selime village. Expect the 4 km hike plus uneven steps, sloping rock, and narrow underground passages. Wear hiking shoes and bring water, a hat, and a light layer. Keep your flight documents accessible and check your luggage arrangements before leaving the hotel.
After sightseeing ends at around 4:00 PM, we'll transfer you to Kayseri or Nevsehir airport. Your return flight to Istanbul is expected to depart between around 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM, with approximately 1 hour 30 minutes in the air. On arrival, we'll meet you and transfer you to your Istanbul hotel; tonight's accommodation isn't included. Breakfast and lunch are included, while dinner is at your own expense.

For a cancellation or date-change request received less than 5 days before the tour starts, the full amount paid is non-refundable. If a traveler does not appear for the booked service, the reservation is treated as a no-show and the full amount paid is non-refundable.
