Please note this is an optional activity at your own expense, and your guide will let you know the exact meeting point and time. Don't forget to bring your swimsuit and towel if you'd like to take a dip.

What should I wear when visiting the mosques and religious sites on this tour?

On Day 3 you'll visit the beautiful Isa Bey Mosque and the House of the Virgin Mary, so modest dress is recommended out of respect. We suggest covering your shoulders and knees, and ladies should carry a scarf to cover their head when entering the mosque. Comfortable walking shoes are also a great idea, as the ancient sites of Ephesus, Pamukkale, Troy and Gallipoli involve plenty of walking on uneven ground.

This tour involves some scenic but lengthy drives. On Day 2 the drive from Selcuk to Pamukkale takes around 3 hours each way, with a restroom stop along the route. On Day 3 you'll travel by public bus from Kusadasi to Canakkale (about 6 hours, arriving around 12:30 am), and on Day 4 the journey from Eceabat to Istanbul takes roughly 5 hours, arriving around 11:00 pm. Comfortable clothing and a little patience make these transfers very enjoyable.

Which hotels will I stay in during the tour?

In Kusadasi you'll spend two nights at the Efe Boutique Hotel, Neopol Hotel Deluxe, Derici Hotel, or a similar standard-quality property, all including breakfast. In Canakkale you'll stay one night at the Grand Anzac Hotel, Helen Hotel, Akol Hotel, or similar. Final hotel assignments are confirmed before your departure, and all listed options offer comfortable accommodation conveniently located for your tours.

Are meals and entrance fees included in the tour price?

Yes, the tour includes breakfast on each day plus lunch on Days 2, 3, and 4, along with all entrance fees to the sites mentioned in the itinerary such as Hierapolis, Ephesus, Troy and the Gallipoli memorials. Your English-speaking licensed guide, all transfers, and the bus tickets are also included. Please note that drinks with meals (except those served at breakfast), tips, and personal expenses are not included.

Is Turkey safe for tourists?

Yes, Turkey is a very popular and welcoming destination that hosts millions of visitors each year, and the regions covered on this tour — Kusadasi, Pamukkale, Ephesus, Canakkale and Istanbul — are well established on the tourist trail. As a licensed agency operating since 2007, we work with professional guides and trusted hotels to ensure your comfort and safety throughout. Do I need a visa to visit Turkey?

Many nationalities can enter Turkey visa-free or with a simple e-Visa, which can be obtained quickly online before your trip. Requirements depend on your nationality, so we recommend checking the official Turkish e-Visa website or your local consulate before traveling. Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.

What is the best time to take this western Turkey tour?

This tour runs year-round, but spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) are ideal, offering pleasant temperatures for exploring Pamukkale's terraces and the open-air ruins of Ephesus, Troy and Gallipoli. Summer can be hot, so bring sun protection and water, while winter is quieter and cooler. Whatever the season, our guides bring these incredible sites to life.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

If you need to cancel your tour or change your travel dates, please notify us at least 5 days before the tour start date. As this tour includes domestic flights and bus tickets, which are non-refundable, the cost of these tickets will be deducted from your payment and the remaining balance refunded to you.
