4-Day Cappadocia, Pamukkale and Antalya Tour from Istanbul

Guided tour English-speaking guide Daily departures Hotel pickup included Best-price guarantee

Overview

Cappadocia's mushroom-shaped pinnacles, Pamukkale's white mineral terraces, and Antalya's Roman ruins give you three different sides of Turkey in four days. Starting from Istanbul, you'll explore with your guide and fellow travelers, with domestic flights connecting the longer stretches. In Cappadocia, look closely at Devrent Valley's rock formations, explore rock-cut churches at Zelve Open Air Museum, and see the pottery-making town of Avanos. A cave hotel stay keeps you close to the landscape you've come to see.

There's time to get beyond the roadside views, too. You'll hike approximately five kilometers through Rose Valley and explore either Kaymakli or Ozkonak Underground City. At Pamukkale and Hierapolis, calcium-rich terraces sit alongside Roman Baths and an ancient theatre. The journey continues by intercity coach to Antalya, taking approximately five hours. Bring comfortable shoes for the valley hike and ancient sites.

Along the Mediterranean coast, Perge Ancient City, Aspendos Ancient Theatre, and Side bring Roman streets, theatre architecture, and waterfront ruins into focus. You'll also stop at Manavgat Waterfall. Three nights are included: one each in Cappadocia, Kusadasi, and Antalya, plus daily lunch and breakfast on the final three days. Shopping stops are part of the group tours. You'll fly back to Istanbul late in the evening; the onward hotel transfer isn't included.
